Something One Thousand Times Smaller.

In the light of day,
Darkness surrounds my hopeless body,
Fear slips into the empty spaces in my veins,
And my heart proceeds to pump quicker. Faster.
Without hesitation, an unwanted adrenaline rush floods through me.

My senses arise,
Everything is blocked out due to the overload of awareness,
Everything but a tiny drop of fear that inches towards me. Closer. And closer.
Something one thousand times smaller than me is what I fear the most.
My Phobia.

Breaking Away From "Right".

There has to always be something transpiring,
Not something typical,
but something sudden and exciting,
Something spontaneous and on impulse.

I've always acted the "right" way,
But there's no risk in that,
No rush when you think back,
So I decided to change that.

So I took a risk,
Felt the rush,
Never regret it,
And most of all, I loved it.

I now realize I need risk,
I thrive on it,
It makes up who I am,
Plus, what's a life without a little excitement?
