Closer than anyone I've ever known,
The sister I've never had.
More determined than the ocean waves longing to reach shore,
Committed to make the best of life, pulling the weight of your past on your back,
Though it may be heavy, you continue to advance though life's unclear course.
Continue to head toward your dreams,
Down a long path that leads into a puddle of gold, into the cheerful sun,
That still continues to shine though hardship and life's heavy hand.
You will reach your goals, though some may alter,
They are always open to someone with a heart as cherry-red as yours,
Someone who decides they want to make a difference in this chaotic world,
You will make a difference, and you already have,
You've make a difference in my world, so thank you,
Thank you for being the sun that continues to shine throughout the day, throughout life.
